Silekunola Naomi, ex-wife of the Ooni of Ife Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, and her family celebrated the second birthday of Prince Tadenikawo in Akure, Ondo State capital on Friday.
Tadenikawo was born on November 18, 2020.
His birthday was celebrated in Akure where his mum has been based since ending her relationship with the king and leaving the palace last year.
Silekunola, her sister Simi and mother were caught on camera at the colourful birthday party.
Oba Ogunwusi and members of his own family were not at the party.
The former Ife queen and her sister shared videos of the ceremony on Instagram on Saturday.
Silekunola announced her separation from the monarch in December 2021, stating that she was not leaving because of the women in the monarch’s life but because his public identity was allegedly at variance with his private personality.
Oba Ogunwusi has since moved on and married six wives in one month.
His wives are Mariam nee Anako, Elizabeth nee Akinmuda, Tobi nee Phillips and Ashley nee Adegoke among others.
