Olori Ashley Ogunwusi and Olori Tobi, the new wives of the Ooni of Ife Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, have celebrated their husband on his 48th birthday.
In a statement signed and posted on Instagram on Monday, Ashley prayed that her husband would remain strong and continue to surmount his challenges.
She said, “Ecstatic for another beautiful year Akande Mi Ajiwe Fun’Osha, you have shown the world what an incredible, amazing and wonderful being you are. I pray that Olodumare will continually give you strength you deserve and smoothly surmount the challenges life brings you.
“…I pray for you on your special day, may you know joy that makes you share, troubles that makes you thrive and failures that makes you succeed lase Olodumare. Cheers to many more years in good health and in abundance of wealth lase Awon Alale.

Olori Ashley got married to the Ooni on October 14. She is the fourth woman to be married to the first-class monarch in quick succession.
Tobi, who got married to the monarch on October 9, also wrote on Instagram: “It’s a New Dawn…It’s a New Day…It’s a New Life…Happy Birthday Kabiyesi Mi, Wishing You a Delightful Year.”
