Olori Temitope Enitan-Ogunwusi, one of the wives of Ooni of Ife Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has been appointed as a Royal Ambassador of the Nigerian Red Cross Society.
Sharing the news on Instagram on Tuesday, Olori Temitope expressed her excitement and gratitude.
“A Royal Honor for Humanity! ,” she wrote.
“Last Friday, February 28, 2025, I had the incredible privilege of being invested as the Royal Ambassador of the Nigerian Red Cross Society at their National Headquarters in Abuja.
“This recognition reflects my deep commitment to humanitarian service, advocacy, and empowering the underserved—values that align with the mission of the Nigerian Red Cross Society. The event was a beautiful gathering of distinguished guests, leaders, and well-wishers who share in the vision of creating a more compassionate and responsive society.
“As Royal Ambassador, I remain committed to supporting and amplifying the incredible work of the Red Cross, mobilizing resources, strengthening partnerships, and standing in service to those in need.
“A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined in this special moment, both physically and in spirit. Your love and support mean everything. ”
Her announcement has drawn congratulatory messages from well-wishers.
Olori Temitope, the sixth wife of the Ooni, is also the Chief Executive Officer of Hopes Alive Initiatives (HAI), a non-governmental organization launched by the monarch in 2017.
She married the Ooni on October 24, 2022, in Lagos.
