Actress Opeyemi Aiyeola has joined her colleague Regina Chukwu in tackling their colleagues who they accused of ‘selling their souls and dignity in exchange for wealth’.
The actress took to Instagram on Monday to urge her colleagues to join in the fight against bad governance following the attack on the worshippers of St Francis Catholic Church, Owo, Ondo State, on Sunday, by gunmen.
According to Opeyemi, betraying Nigeria over wealth is insensitive, cruel, selfish and evil.
She wrote: “Betraying Nigeria as a celebrity now is highly insensitive, selfish, cruel and evil. Remember if we allow the country to fall WE ALL WILL SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES and all the wealth we are insensitively clamoring for will burn before our eyes.
“What shall it profit a Nigerian celebrity to sell his/ her soul n dignity in exchange for wealth and Nigeria falls.”
In her message to her colleagues, Regina Chukwu vowed to physically attack those campaigning for ‘old men’.
