Ghanaian actress and film producer, Juliet Ibrahim, has shared her opinion on the friendship between members of the opposite sex.
The actress took to Instagram on Thursday, revealing that in most cases the term ‘besties’ is a decoy for sides chics.
“I told my friends that I believe in most cases; opposite-sex besties are decoy names for side chicks or side niggas. In the sense that; most of these besties secretly have a crush on each other and are just waiting for the right time to be the one to come to the rescue or be the shoulder to lean on,” she wrote.
Juliet recently removed all pictures of her and rapper boyfriend, Iceberg Slim, from social media.
The move caused an uproar on social media as followers begin to speculate that her relationship with the singer has hit the rocks.
Juliet then revealed the reason she took her private life off social media.
“Months ago I decided it was time to face my day job and thus took off aspects of my private life off my social media handles.
“Please note that it is all about my day job on my social media handles going forward. If I need to let the world know what’s going on in my private life, be rest assured that you will be the first to know,” she said.
It is yet to be confirmed if she and the singer are still in a relationship as the pair have remain tight-lipped over the matter.
