Nollywood actress Osas Ighodaro has opted for a low-key birthday celebration due to the #EndSARS campaign against police brutality and bad governance.
The mother of one stated this in an Instagram post on Monday.
“Thank God for another year. Happy birthday to me. If you know me, you know I absolutely love birthdays but this year certainly hits different.
“I’m overwhelmingly grateful for life and thankful to God to be able to see another birthday bc unfortunately many haven’t and won’t have that opportunity,” she wrote.
The TV host said her birthday wish is for her followers to keep praying for the lives that have been lost in the #EndSARS protest.
Osas has been a part of the #EndSARS campaign as she joined protesters at the Lekki toll gate in Lagos State.
