Actress Osas Ighodaro has revealed that she is co-producing 3 Cold Dishes, the debut film project of Grammy-winning musician Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy.
Osas shared the news while speaking on a recent episode of the In My Opinion podcast, where she described the forthcoming project as an adventure film featuring three major languages.
“It is an adventure film where we speak English, Yoruba, and French, and we are going through English and French-speaking countries from Nigeria to Côte d’Ivoire to Benin. I love it; it is directed by Asurf,” she said.
The actress added, “You have Wale Ojo in it, you have myself, and some amazing actresses from Côte d’Ivoire, and I am also proud to be a producer on it.
“It is my first major [production] with Asurf, who is the director, and Burna Boy.”
3 Cold Dishes, written by Tomi Adesina, follows the story of three teenagers who are victims of sex trafficking and reunite 13 years later to seek revenge.
Burna Boy will mark his entry into film production with the thriller under Spaceship Films, the company he co-founded with his mother, Bose Ogulu.
The project is led by Big Black Mac and will be co-produced by Ifind, Alma Prods, Asurf Films, and Martian Network.
The movie features a star-studded cast including Femi Jacobs, Wale Ojo, Ruby Akubueze, and Brutus Richards, alongside actors from Côte d’Ivoire and Senegal.
