National chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole, has described as ‘fake news’ a report which claimed he threatened to reveal who was really posing as Nigeria’s president if removed as the party’s chair.
In a tweet on Thursday, Mr Oshiomhole debunked the report published in January in Pidgin English following his suspension by the APC in Edo.
Oshiomhole was ordered on Wednesday by Justice Danlami Senchi of a Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court in Jabi to stop parading himself as APC chairman after having been suspended as a member of the party.
The order followed an interlocutory injunction for his suspension.
The former Edo governor has filed for a stay of execution on the court order at the Court of Appeal in Abuja.
