Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on Thursday visited some flood-ravaged parts of Anambra State.
Mr Osinbajo, who was taken around the affected areas by Governor Willie Obiano, took the extra risk of boarding a boat.
According to presidential media aide, Laolu Akande, the Vice President took to waters to reach out to the people of Otoucha after flying over vast areas submerged by the floods.
VP Osinbajo now in Anambra State to see the situation after the floods. He flew, in a chopper, over vast areas including farmlands affected. “It’s one of the worst we have seen in recent times,” the VP laments.

Addressing the people displaced, VP Osinbajo said: “Mr. President asked me to come and check your welfare.
“We shall do our best to help everyone so you can resettle well, go back and continue your work. We are paying attention to everything going on here. God bless you all.”
