Nigeria international Victor Osimhen has deleted all posts related to his club Napoli on his Instagram page.
This followed a video the club posted on its TikTok page mocking him for missing a penalty.
QEDNG observed on Wednesday, September 27 that Osimhen had deleted all posts connected to the Italian club on Instagram, leaving only one in which he wore the club’s jersey.
The 24-year-old has threatened to take legal action against Napoli.
Osimhen missed the chance to put Napoli ahead from the penalty spot during the team’s goalless draw away at Bologna on Sunday, September 24.
The Nigerian then had a spat with coach Rudi Garcia on the touchlines after being substituted.

Osihmen later apologised to the coach in the dressing room.
However, the post on the club’s TikTok page got tempers flaring, with many social media influencers and sports personalities criticising the club for the treatment of Osimhen who ended the club’s three-decade wait for the Scudetto last season.
Reacting to the video on Tuesday, September 26, Oshimhen’s agent Roberto Calenda said he “reserves the right to take legal action” against the club.
He released a statement on X (formerly Twitter), saying the video caused “very serious damage to the player”.
“What happened today on Napoli’s official profile on the TikTok platform is not acceptable.
“A video mocking Victor was first made public and then, but now belatedly, deleted.
“We reserve the right to take legal action and any other useful initiative to protect Victor,” Mr Calenda said.
Napoli did not immediately respond to a request for comment outside normal business hours, according to Reuters.
Champions Napoli are seventh in the standings and play Udinese at home on Wednesday, September 27.
