Actor and comedian Osinachi Dike, popularly known as Egbeigwe Apama, has revealed how his two-year-old son died.
Qed.ng reported that the boy named Jidenna died on Tuesday, November 15 at a hospital in Owerri.
The actor also confirmed the death of the boy to Qed.ng.
Speaking about his shocking death, Apama revealed that the boy had been sick for a long time and they have been hoping on God for a miracle.
“It’s true. He has been sick for long. That’s the life of an entertainer. You make people laugh while you’re dying in pains,” he wrote.
A source close to the family also told Qed.ng that the child’s dedication was held last month.
Hours after the death of his son, Osinachi Dike made a post on Facebook saying, “God is still God.”
Fellow celebrities and fans consoled him in the comment section of the post.
The Imo State University graduate is married to Prisca Ogechi Dike.
The couple welcomed a baby girl in June 2022.
Osinachi started his career as a stand up comedian while he was still an undergraduate before venturing into full time acting.
He has been featured in several movie such as Ada Mbano, Aunty Otocha, My Choice, Joromi, Strangers in Love and The Village Girl.
