A day after attending the burial of former Vice President Alex Ekwueme in Anambra State, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo was in Kano on Saturday for the wedding of his personal assistant, Hafiz Kawu.

The ceremony was at the Umar Bin Khattab Mosque located at Dangi Round About along Zaria Road in Kano metropolis.
Prof Osinbajo was accompanied to the venue by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje, Senator Barau Jibril-Maliya, Senator Kabir Gaya and Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly Matters, Abdurrahman Sumaila.
The Vice President later paid a courtesy visit on the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi II. He had a closed door meeting with the monarch for about 50 minutes.
