Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has paid a condolence visit to the leader of the pan-Yoruba socio-political organisation, Afenifere, Pa Reuben Fasoranti in Akure, Ondo State.
Fasoranti’s daughter, Funke Olakunri, was killed by an armed gang on Kajola-Ore road, Ondo, on Friday.
Prof. Osinbajo said on Sunday that the Federal Government would explore all options, including deploying soldiers on the highways to curb the security challenges in the country.
“As you know, I am here to commiserate with the families of Olakunri and Pa Rebeun Fasoranti.
“This is a massive tragedy as you can imagine. We have seen it replicated here and there which is kidnapping death and killings,” Osinbajo said.
President Muhammadu Buhari had on Saturday reached the Afenifere leader on phone to commiserate with him on the loss of his daughter.
