Oludamilola Bakare, daughter of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, has welcomed a baby boy with her husband Seun Bakare.
Prof Osinbajo, 63, took to Instagram on Monday to share his excitement at becoming a grandfather.
“All glory to God, I am now a grand-dad! My daughter, Oludamilola & her husband Oluseun became parents to a wonderful baby boy this morning!” he wrote.
With the same photograph, his wife Dolapo also announced the news on Instagram.
“’Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord.’ Psalm 127:3. All thanks and praise to God for His precious gift of a baby boy delivered today, to our children, Seun and Damilola Bakare. All glory to God,” she wrote.
Another daughter of the vice president, Kiki Osinbajo wrote on Instagram: “Congratulations are in order…… I’M THE NEWEST AUNTY IN TOWN.🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 congratulations to my big sister Dami & her husband (my brother) Seun…. may this child be a source of Joy always. Thank you Jesus.”
Damilola and Seun wedded in March 2018 at the National Ecumenical Centre, Abuja.
The reception took place at the old Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
