Actress Dayo Amusa has mourned actor and filmmaker Osmond Gbadebo who died at the age of 45.
Osmond’s death was announced on Monday, May 30, by some of his colleagues like Madam Saje, Afeez Owo, Kunle Afod and Zainab Bakare.
Reacting to the tragic loss in an Instagram post on Tuesday, Dayo Amusa said the death hit her differently. She added that the actor fought a battle and he is now in a place of peace.
She wrote: “The storm is over, you fought a battle! Now you are in a place of peace. Rest well Osmond – This hit so differently. Ani fii iru e gba…… RIP.”
According to veteran actor Yemi Solade, Osmond battled a terminal ailment for years before he finally died, while actress Zainab Bakare who could not hold back her tears over the sudden demise of her friend and colleague said the actor died in his birth month and two weeks after his daughter’s birth.
Osmond Gbadebo will be buried on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at the Atan Cemetery in Lagos State.
