Osoba visits Saraki over mum’s death

Ex-governor of Ogun State Olusegun Osoba has paid a visit to the former Senate President Bukola Saraki and wife Toyin over the death of Florence Saraki.

Mrs Saraki, the Saraki family’s matriarch, died on June 18 at age 89.

The former Senate President, who has been receiving visitors, shared photos of Osoba’s visit on social media on Friday morning.

The photos also captured Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke and his elder brother Adedeji Adeleke on condolence visit.

Among those who have also paid the Saraki family a visit to commiserate with them are Aliko Dangote, Udom Emmanuel, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo, Lai Mohammed, Peter Obi, Shehu Sani, Ibikunle Amosun, Farooq Oreagba, Governor Godwin Obaseki, Governor Dapo Abiodun, Olu Okeowo, Abdulfatah Ahmed, and Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede.

In announcing his mum’s death, Saraki had said in a statement, “With profound sadness and total submission to the will of Almighty God, I announce the passing of my beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and matriarch, Chief Mrs. Florence Morenike Saraki, who peacefully transitioned today, Tuesday, June 18, 2024.

“Details regarding funeral arrangements will be shared in due course. We appreciate your love, prayers, and support as we mourn Mama’s passing.”
