Former governor of Enugu State Chimaroke Nnamani has described former governor of Ogun State Olusegun Osoba as the third eldest governor in 1999.
Nnamani, who was governor from 1999 to 2007, tweeted this on Sunday in celebration of Osoba who clocked 84 on Saturday.
Osoba served twice as governor of Ogun State, first from 1992 to 1993 during the Third Republic and then from 1999 to 2003.
Earlier, Nnamani said Osoba was the second eldest. He later apologised for the misinformation, noting that Osoba was actually the third eldest after Obong Attah of Akwa Ibom State who will be 85 in November, and Bisi Akande of Osun State who clocked 84 in January.
