Chairman of Geregu Power Plc Femi Otedola has felicitated Africa’s richest man Aliko Dangote on the occasion of his 67th birthday.
Mr Otedola, who refers to Dangote as his bestie, shared a photo on Instagram of himself and the businessman on Wednesday.
He described Dangote as the greatest industrialist to come out of the continent.
“Happy Birthday to the greatest industrialist to ever come out of Africa @Aliko_DangoteGCON,” he wrote.
Dangote and Otedola made the 2024 Forbes list of the richest people in the world released earlier this month.
The duo alongside Mike Adenuga and Abdulsamad Rabiu were the only Nigerians on the list.

Dangote’s fortune soared to $13.4 billion while Adenuga’s net worth was placed at $6.7 billion.
Rabiu and Otedola recorded fortunes of $5.2 billion and $1.4 billion respectively.
The quartet made the coveted list despite the devaluation of the naira and inflation.
Dangote retained his Africa’s richest man position. He doubles as the richest black man in the world.
His business empire, Dangote Group, is one of the largest private-sector employers in Nigeria as well as the most valuable conglomerate in West Africa and majors in cement and sugar within the manufacturing sector.
