Billionaire businessman Femi Otedola has taken to social media to celebrate his close friend and fellow tycoon, Aliko Dangote, on his 68th birthday.
In a post shared on Instagram on Thursday, the 62-year-old posted a photo of Dangote along with a tribute.
“Happy birthday my Dear Brother. The greatest entrepreneur to have come out of Africa,” he wrote.
Dangote is widely regarded as Africa’s most successful industrialist.
He is the founder of the Dangote Group, West Africa’s largest conglomerate, with operations spanning 17 African countries.
The company is a powerhouse across multiple sectors, including cement production, sugar refining, salt processing and most recently, oil and gas.
According to Forbes, Dangote’s net worth stood at approximately $23.8 billion as of March 2025, securing his position as Africa’s richest person.
In February, the business mogul announced a $400 million investment to double the production capacity of his cement plant in Ethiopia.
