Business tycoon Femi Otedola has contributed the sum of N1 billion to the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF).
His daughter Tolani Otedola presented the cheque to Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Wednesday at the Lagos House in Marina.
The LSSTF, which has been a cornerstone in the provision of critical support to law enforcement agencies for nearly two decades, has benefited from Mr. Otedola’s consistent support.
Sanwo-Olu’s media aide Jubril Gawat shared photos of the presentation on social media.
“Governor of Lagos State, Mr @jidesanwoolu today received the cheque of 1 Billion Naira Donation by a patriotic citizen and an ambassador of Lagos State, Mr Femi Otedola @realFemiOtedola to the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (@followlsstf).

“The presentation was made by his daughter, Ms Tolani Otedola @shestolani today at the Lagos House, Marina. Mr Femi Otedola has been a consistent donor to the Fund,” he wrote.
Ms Otedola underscored the LSSTF’s enduring contribution to the state’s security framework and the Otedola family’s commitment to fostering a safe environment for all Lagosians.
In her closing remarks, she lauded the governor and the LSSTF for their commitment to keeping Lagos safe and encouraged the Fund to continue its legacy of transparency and prudent management of resources.
