Business mogul Femi Otedola on Wednesday visited the Dangote refinery following the commencement of production in the facility.
The chairman of Geregu Power Plc congratulated his ‘bestie’ Aliko Dangote on his achievement in building the world’s largest single-train petroleum refinery.
Mr Otedola shared a photo of himself and Africa’s richest man at the refinery on social media.
“Today I visited the 8th wonder of the world: the Dangote Oil Refinery, which just started production,” he wrote.
“Congratulations to my bestie @AlikoDangote on this tremendous feat! Guinness Book of Records for the world’s largest single-train petroleum refinery in the world. History is made.”

This is Otedola’s first visit to the refinery this year.
On Friday, December 8, Dangote Refinery said it received its first one million barrels of Agbami crude grade from Shell International Trading and Shipping Company Limited (STASCO).
Commissioned in May 2023 by ex-President Muhammadu Buhari after years of delay, the facility in the Lekki area of Lagos State is billed as Africa’s largest oil refinery.
