Veteran musician Charles Chukwuemeka Oputa, better known as Charly Boy, has said he is tired of his marriage to Diane Oputa.
The singer also known as Area Fada said this in a recent post on Twitter where he informed his fans that he was tired and wants to go back to being a bachelor.
According to him, the marriage of over 45 years gets tougher as it progresses.
“My People, If I tell una say, after over 45yrs of marriage to my wife dat am going back to bachelorhood, what would you say?
“I don talk say dis marriage of a tin just no easy. The longer you stay, the harder it gets. What should I do? I tire oooo,” he tweeted.
Although Charly Boy and Diane had been together for over 40 years and had several children, they were not wedded according to Christian rites until December 2018 when the duo exchanged marriage vows at Chapel of Sisters of Jesus the Redeemer Catholic Church in Gwarimpa, Abuja.
The couple also made headlines by riding to the wedding venue in a tricycle.
