Founder of the Living Faith Church Worldwide aka Winners’ Chapel Bishop David Oyedepo on Thursday celebrated the senior pastor of London-based Kingsway International Christian Centre Matthew Ashimolowo on his 70th birthday.
Oyedepo, 67, prayed for Ashimolowo in an Instagram post that his strength would be renewed.
“Happy 70th birthday Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo @matthewashimolowo.official. As your days are, so shall your strength be,” he said.
“May the oil upon your head remain ever fresh in Jesus’ name. Amen. Congratulations.”

Meanwhile, on Wednesday, President Muhammadu Buhari sent a congratulatory message to Ashimolowo.
The president, in a statement by his spokesman Femi Adesina, rejoiced with Ashimolowo and his wife, Yemisi, for their dedication to bringing meaning and value to many lives through preaching and teaching of the gospel.
He particularly acknowledged the more recently, Ashimolowo’s focus on equipping the youths with direction and tools for success in the Biblical context, which prescribes love, justice, hard work and fairness in all dealings.
The president affirmed that Ashimolowo’s influence and relevance stretch beyond the pulpit and his calling as a preacher, with his deep insight on issues of everyday life like marriage, relationships, investments, governance and business, showing the way for many.
