Presiding bishop of Living Faith Church International aka Winners Chapel David Oyedepo on Thursday celebrated the church’s vice president (foreign missions) Bishop Thomas Aremu on his birthday.
He said in an Instagram post: “Happy birthday Bishop Thomas Aremu. Praise God for keeping you in good health to see this new year. As your days are, so shall your strength be.
“May the oil upon your head remain ever fresh in Jesus’ name. Amen. Congratulations.”
Oyedepo was on Wednesday silent on the 69th birthday of the senior pastor of Kingsway International Christian Centre (KICC) in London Matthew Ashimolowo.
A post on Wednesday on Ashimolowo’s Instagram page read: “Happy Birthday, Pastor Matthew! Praying God’s blessing of long life, health, strength, peace, joy, greater wisdom and power in and over your life.”
Unlike many top pastors in Nigeria, Ashimolowo’s birthday was not celebrated by many on social media.
Last November, Ashimolowo hosted Oyedepo and his wife Faith in his palatial home in Lagos.
He said in an Instagram post that it was a pleasure being with Oyedepo, 66, whom he has known for 33 years.
Also present during the visit was Hakeem Ogunniran chairman of the board of directors, Lagos Investment Co Plc (LBIC).
