Kemi Oyedepo, daughter-in-law of the clergyman Bishop David Oyedepo, has attended her graduation ceremony in Orlando, Florida, United States.
In April, Kemi, wife of Oyedepo’s first son Oyedepo Junior, announced she had bagged a doctorate degree in human resource management at Walden University.
She attended the graduation ceremony with her husband.
Informing her Instagram followers about it on Monday, she wrote, “Took a quick trip to Orlando, FL to attend my graduation which was the day after my birthday! It’s been celebration x2 for this girl.
“What a journey this Doctoral program was! One statement from one of the speakers was – ‘The more education you have, the more responsibility you have to add value. Education must be shared, not hoarded!’”
Kemi said she looked forward to adding more value in education.
She also thanked God for the “grace to start and the will to finish”.
Announcing this milestone on Instagram back in April, Kemi wrote: ““Rejoice with me, friends! The LORD kept His Word and did for OLUKEMI exactly what He had promised!
“I closed a chapter of my life and have officially become Dr. Kemi Oyedepo. Ahhh This is a BIG DEAL for me.
“Juggling this Doctoral program with so many other responsibilities and challenges brought a lot of highs and lows BUT thanks be unto EBENEZER for causing THIS girl to TRIUMPH with a PUBLISHED dissertation!”
