An unidentified man on Friday climbed the fuselage of Azman aircraft at Lagos Airport.
The incident caused panic among passengers aboard the Port Harcourt-bound flight who lamented the absence of security in the area.
The aircraft was parked at the apron preparatory for taxing into the runway before take-off.
The man climbed the parked aircraft through the dude to hang at the compartment housing the fuel tank.
One of the passengers said on social media that they were disembarked from the flight as a result of the incident.
Officials of Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria ( FAAN) said the man has been arrested and taken to an isolated area around the Lagos Airport called Tango City.
The management of Azman Air has not issued a statement on the incident.
