Leader of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) Pastor Evelyn Joshua has promised to continue upholding her late husband TB Joshua’s legacy.
Evelyn spoke on Sunday, June 12, on Joshua’s second posthumous birthday and one week after his first memorial service.
The mother of two did not take the sermon but gave Evangelist Ope the responsibility to speak on the topic “The Power of Love”.
Joining congregants for the prayer line and anointing water ministration session, Evelyn first thanked people all over world for their outpouring of love during the anniversary on June 5.
She said, “I and the entire Synagogue family say, ‘God bless you.'”
Evelyn added, “We will continue to celebrate Prophet TB Joshua and all he stood for.”
As part of the celebratory mood on Joshua’s posthumous birthday, Pastor Evelyn also announced the gifts of DVDs and stickers for all congregants.
Joshua died on June 5, 2021, a week to his 58th birthday.
A Bahamas-based preacher Bishop Trevor Williamson was also at SCOAN to celebrate the late televangelist. He joined in the cutting of the birthday cake alongside Joshua’s children and SCOAN evangelists Chisom, James, Ope among others.
In a Facebook post, the church vowed to continue celebrating Joshua and his legacy.
The posthumous birthday celebration came one week after the church held a memorial service to mark the first anniversary of Joshua’s death.
Many of Joshua’s mentees and disciples, including Emmanuel TV partners, were present at the Lagos-based church on June 5 for the anniversary of the man known for charity and miracles.
