Senior Pastor of Trinity House, Ituah Ighodalo, has spoken on the theme of death on the day of his wife’s burial.
The Lagos-based preacher, in his usual message for the day called ‘As You Arise’, spoke on Jesus and his encounter with the ‘dead’ Lazarus in the Bible.
He recounted briefly the biblical story of Jesus telling the people that Lazarus was only asleep and not dead.
“As you arise this morning, that thing that looks like something bad is just a temporary break. It is not death, it is asleep. It is not destruction,” he said in a video shared on Instagram on Saturday.
The cleric’s wife, Ibidun, died on June 14 in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
She will be buried on Saturday, June 20 in Lagos.
