Convener of the New Season Prophetic Prayers, and lead pastor of Streams of Joy International, Pastor Jerry Eze, has reportedly made over N7 billion in revenue from creating content on YouTube.
Fondly known for the slogan ‘What God cannot do does not exist,’ Eze leads one of the fastest growing Christian ministries in Nigeria.
Data curation platform, Playboard, claimed Eze’s daily earnings exceed N7 million, with his highest single-day revenue reaching an extraordinary ₦21 million on July 16, 2023, due to a surge in viewer traffic.
With 2.1 million subscribers, the clergyman is said to be Nigeria’s highest-earning YouTube creator.
His content, primarily live-streamed prayer meetings, has garnered nearly 30 million views in the past week alone, averaging 418,000 views daily. In total, his videos have been viewed over 274 million times.
Eze is a native of Bende in Abia State and holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations from Abia State University, alongside a postgraduate certificate in business administration from Enugu State University of Technology (ESUT).
In 2021, he told PUNCH that growing up poor made him turn to God.
“I grew up in a poor home. I must not forget to say that my mum was quite indigent. I already mentioned the fact that she is a single parent. That was how our journey started. Maybe, I would just say that poverty was one of the factors that made us seek the Lord because there was nothing else to hope on than to just cling to God,” he said.
