General overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries Pastor Daniel Olukoya on Thursday met the former governor of Akwa Ibom State Udom Emmanuel at the fifth convocation of Mountain Top University.
Emmanuel delivered a lecture titled ‘Optimising your potential in a challenging future’ at the ceremony.
The university, sited in Ogun State, produced 36 first class graduates out of 348.
A total of 329 graduates were conferred with the award of first degree, two got PhDs, one got master of philosophy degree, 15 were presented masters’ degree and one received postgraduate diploma.

Announcing the best graduating student via Instagram, Olukoya wrote: “Her name is Miss Iganya Ele-Ojo Judith, and she is from the Department of Economics. She did an amazing job and got a cumulative Grade point Average of 4.94. She is the overall best student!”
At a press briefing on Monday, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Elijah Ayolabi shared the significance of this year’s convocation and the university’s commitments to providing uninterrupted academic progress.
He said, “At the inception of this university, one of the cardinal objectives was to ensure seamless, uninterrupted academic progress in the university.
“I am happy to announce to you that the university has not failed in that regard. Every year, students who meet the requirements for graduation and successfully complete their academic requirements pass out from this university in flying colours. This is part of our commitment and we will pursue it vigorously to maintain our reputation as a university of excellence in Nigeria and in the world at large.”
