General overseer of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries Dr. Daniel Olukoya and his wife Folashade Olukoya have been recognised for their outstanding contributions to community development and leadership.

The couple received the Global Reputation Forum and 26th Gathering of Africa’s Best Platinum Awards at a ceremony held in London.

The awards conferred by the Financial Times, Bracken London and the Global Reputation Forum celebrate the Olukoyas’ transformative impact on lives and their exemplary leadership within the faith community and beyond.

According to the event organisers, Prof. Hepburn Simeon and Dr. Vyone, the Olukoyas were honoured for their dedication to spiritual and social development as well as their efforts in uplifting communities across the globe.

“The couple and their ministry, MFM, have distinguished themselves through their dedication to spiritual and social development. This award acknowledges their transformative influence on countless lives and the exceptional example they set within the faith community and beyond,” they said.

The GAB Awards also highlighted Olukoya’s impact, describing him as a leader who has used his influence and resources to empower communities and individuals worldwide.

Founder of the GAB Awards Femi Okutubo praised Olukoya’s commitment to initiatives such as vocational training, entrepreneurship development, financial aid, and scholarship programmes which have helped create opportunities for many underprivileged individuals.

“Olukoya is a man with a heart of gold. His passion for transforming lives is unmatched. As the first Nigerian to clone genes and a prolific author of scientific papers, his contributions to science and education are as remarkable as his faith-driven community work,” Okutubo said.

Mrs Olukoya, who accepted the awards on behalf of her husband, emphasised the importance of making a positive impact as part of their life’s mission.

“We are all created for God’s pleasure. My husband and I, along with the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries and Mountain Top University, are committed to making impactful contributions and inspiring societal change. By God’s grace, touching lives and winning souls remain at the core of what we do,” she said.
