Jimmy’s older sister Tolu Odukoya-Ijogun also celebrated him on Instagram.
She wrote, “Happy Birthday to my dear younger brother 😋and Senior Pastor, @iamthatpj. I am incredibly proud of the man that you are and the person you are becoming. Your acceptance of the call and stepping up to the challenge shows immense courage, and I salute you for it.
“Through the mighty power of the Holy Spirit, I believe that you will take us to the next level of glory in Jesus’ precious name. It is “mind blowing” for us to comprehend what God has in store for us through you, but I believe that you are a voice in our generation. Happy birthday, Sir. I celebrate and honour you today. Love you very much, PJ.”
Jimmy was installed as the church’s senior pastor in September 2023.
Bishop of The Redeemed Evangelical Mission (TREM) Mike Okonkwo presided over the installation ceremony at the church in the Ilupeju area of Lagos.
Odukoya, the former senior pastor of the church, died on August 7 in the United States. He was aged 67.
