Pastor Tobi Adegboyega of the Salvation Proclaimers Anointed Church (SPAC) has donated N3million to ailing veteran actor Ojo Arowosafe, popularly known as Fadeyi Oloro.
Adegboyega pledged to donate the amount during an Instagram live session with media personality Daddy Freeze on Thursday.
An additional N261,000 was raised for Fadeyi Oloro, bringing the total sent to him to N3,261,000.
Daddy Freeze confirmed in an Instagram post on Friday that the money has been sent to the actor’s family.
Fadeyi Oloro’s daughter had said during Thursday’s Instagram live session that her father was diagnosed with a kidney ailment and had been served quit notice by his landlord.
A staff of TVC, who also joined the session, however, said the actor was suffering from the effects of concoctions he drank to treat his ailment.
According to the man, Fadeyi Oloro has sought help in different places, including Prophet TB Joshua’s Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN).
Daddy Freeze then promised to help raise N3million to help treat the actor who has been in and out of hospital for about three years.
Adegboyega, who also joined the live session, said he knew Fadeyi Oloro from watching him on TV.
“I know him very well. I was young but we all watched Baba Fadeyi Oloro growing up. He is one of our major legends in Africa,” Adegboyega said.
Asked how much he can give from the amount Daddy Freeze promised to raise for the ailing actor, Adegboyega said “I will give you three million to give baba and we will still continue taking care of baba.”
