Nollywood actress and philanthropist, Tonto Dikeh, has warned her fans that pastors are not God in response to comments by a prophet who prophesied that Funke Akindele might never concieve a child.
Prophet Olagoroye claimed that Funke Akindele conceived through In-Vitro-Fertilisation (IVF) while his prophecy only concerned natural conception.
Tonto Dikeh, 33, took to Instagram on Friday to remind her followers that pastors are not God.
Sharing an edited picture of Akindele and Prophet Olagoroye, Tonto Dikeh wrote, “YOUR PASTORS ARE NOT GOD AND NOT EVERY WORD THAT THE SAY BELONGS TO GOD!!
“THE POWER OF GOD IS SUCH AN OVERWHELMING FEELING AND SOMETIMES WE MISS USE IT BUT EVEN AT THAT GOD DEEMS ALL HIS SERVANTS FIT!!!
“NO PASTOR CAN TAKE YOU TO HEAVEN. NO PASTOR CAN HELP YOU MORE THAN YOU CAN YOURSELF!! NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD!!”
Funke Akindele has welcomed her twin boys with her musician husband JJC Skillz in Decemeber 2018 in a London Hospital.
Coming few years after Lagos-based pastor Olagorioye Faleyimu said Funke may not have children of her own.
