After the controversy generated by his advertised performance at a church programme, Fuji musician, Pasuma, who turns 48 on Friday, has released a music video with Christian elements.
Titled ‘Olohun Oje’ and featuring rapper, Q-Dot, the video has scenes of some people dressed in the manner of white garment churches praying and dancing.
The video was shot in Lagos and directed by Clearance Peters.
Born Wasiu Alabi in Mushin, Lagos State, Pasuma traces his ancestry to Kwara State.
He started his music career in 1984 and released his debut album, Recognition in 1993. It was however Orobokibo of 1995 that gave made street credibility and made him a star.
He has since expanded his horizon and collaborated with various artistes including Olamide, Tiwa Savage, Oritsefemi and Patoranking.
His debut hip-hop album titled My World was released on August, 2, 2015.
With numerous nicknames adopted along the way, the Muslim faithful is now most popular as Oganla.
