Senior pastor and founder of House on the Rock, Pastor Paul Adefarasin, has prayed for Lagos State Governor-elect, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, as he prepares to take office.
Sanwo-Olu would be due for swearing-in on May 29 after emerging winner of the governorship election held in the state on March 9.
The governor-elect made his meeting with Adefarasin known in a tweet on Sunday which he captioned: “Open the floodgates of Heaven, Lord. Let your grace, mercy & supernatural insight rain on Lagos.
“Let fresh ideas, kindness, selflessness, humility & empathy rain on Lagosians even as we enter into 4 years of plenty #ForAGreaterLagos in Jesus name.”
Adefarasin replied the tweet with more prayers for Sanwo-Olu.
He said: “Amen. We declare that God’s great grace, knowledge & wisdom flows forth mightily from within you causing you to be a transformational force for good as we work towards building our communities, state & nation into the vision that God has designed for them to be in Jesus name.”
