Senior pastor of House on the Rock (HOTR) Church Paul Adefarasin on Thursday shared on social media photos of himself and skit maker Samuel Perry, popularly known as Broda Shaggi.

The skit maker was part of a delegation which recently visited the church and met with the clergyman.

Adefarasin received his guests dressed in a shirt, a pair of jean trousers and blue sneakers to match.

Broda Shaggi joined the delegation in his capacity as a champion of Youth in Animation and Post-production Initiative (YAPPI).

YAPPI is a programme designed to train 60,000 young people in multiple disciplines across the 3D animation and post-production industry. Tuition is funded by Mastercard Foundation in partnership with Del-York Creative Academy.

One of the photos shared by the clergyman shows him posing with Broda Shaggi in one of the skit maker’s trademark styles.

The move will see the church collaborate with Del-York to empower young people aged 18 to 35.

Revealing details of the partnership, Adefarasin said, “We are excited to share that HOTR is embarking on a collaboration with Del-York to empower our youth aged 18-35. With the generous backing of the Mastercard Foundation, tuition for this groundbreaking program is fully covered.

“This initiative will open doors to both remote and local job opportunities through the YAPPI job placement platform.

“Hearing the passionate Del-York team discuss this initiative was truly inspiring. Their dedication is setting the stage for our youth to achieve remarkable success. I strongly encourage as many young people as possible to seize this extraordinary opportunity.

“To all participants, embrace this chance to elevate your career and reach new heights. We believe in you!”

Other members of the delegation were the chief operating officer, Del-York Group, Ikenna Oguike; managing director, Del-York Development Company, Stella Fubara; and head of brand business development, Del-York Creative Academy, Uzo Orimalade.
