Pastor Ifeanyi Adefarasin, wife of the founding pastor Paul Adefarasin of House on the Rock Church, has extolled the resident pastor of the church’s branch in Gombe State Samuel Dogori for delivering what she termed a “stirring sermon”.
In an Instagram post on Wednesday, Adefarasin said Dogori’s sermon was titled ‘Spoken Words Don’t Die’.
According to her, the Gombe pastor’s voice carries power and authority and his message inspired the church to “hold fast to the enduring power of God’s spoken word.”
She wrote, “When God speaks, He does so with intent to act, not merely to inform. His voice carries power and authority, ensuring that His words don’t just echo but actively work to fulfil His purpose. So, when you hear God’s voice, trust that He is already in motion, bringing to life what you’ve heard. The pivotal part is yours – simply believe, embrace, receive, and live it out.”
She added, “Our heartfelt thanks to Pastor Samuel Dogori @psam_dogori from our daughter church parish in Gombe, Northern Nigeria, for delivering the stirring sermon ‘SPOKEN WORDS DON’T DIE’ this Sunday.
“His fervent passion and profound insight have left an indelible mark on our hearts, inspiring us to hold fast to the enduring power of God’s spoken word.”
