Singer Paul Okoye has confirmed his relationship with Instagram influencer Ivy Ifeoma.
Speculations that the lovebirds are dating started on Sunday when the 41-year-old posted a video of himself and Ifeoma going to church together.
Paul Okoye also buzzed the internet when he made another post with the caption: “one year anniversary” on his Instagram account with many believing that he was celebrating one year of his relationship with Ivy.
In another Instagram post on Tuesday, the singer shared a video of Ifeoma, addressing her again as his love, with Ed Sheeran’s ‘Perfect’ playing in the background.
Ifeoma reposted the video and called Paul the love of her life.
Ifeoma Ivy is a model, influencer and digital creator. She also runs The Ivy Mark, a female clothing brand. According to reports, the duo has been going out for a while.
In August last year, news broke that Paul and his wife Anita were separated, with the latter reportedly citing unfaithfulness on the part of her husband.
In a court document filled in an Abuja High Court, Anita requested the dissolution of their marriage. She also asked Paul to challenge the petition if he feels dissatisfied.
Anita first sparked divorce rumours in April 2019 when it was reported that she relocated with their children to the United States of America. The rumours were laid to rest after she shared a video on Instagram chronicling their marital journey to celebrate their wedding anniversary,
She wrote: “Five years of friendship. Five years of marriage and adorable kids. We bicker and argue, we quarrel and fight, but we still love each other with all our might. We have differences, which we grumpily bear, but at the end of the day, we both make a great pair. Happy anniversary, partner.”
The estranged couple got married in 2014 after dating for 10 years. They have three children.
