Singer Paul Okoye also known as Rude Boy has shared an encounter he had with some police officers in Lagos.
Narrating his ordeal, the former member of the defunct group Psquare in an Instagram story on Friday, said that the officers tried extorting from him but he did not oblige them.
Rude Boy also lamented the barricades in Lagos Island.
“Went to club for the first time in 2yrs plus. mennn…For Godsake why are they traffic at 2-3 am. Barricades everywhere in Lagos island.
“Police extortion every angle with no shame. Mostly at club junctions and places that lead to people’s homes. Meanwhile you cant find them on roads leading to third mainland bridge ‘Big man, chairman, Big boy anything for us? Shi shi una no go see for my hand,” he wrote.
The 39-year-old made headlines in August after his estranged wife Anita Okoye petitioned a court to dissolve their marriage on the ground of irreconcilable differences.
