Juventus and Argentina footballer, Paulo Dybala, has tested positive for coronavirus.
In a message posted on social media, the 26-year-old said he and his girlfriend, Oriana Sabatini, both have the virus but were in good health.
“Both Oriana and I have tested positive,” Dybala said. “Luckily we are in perfect conditions.”
“Thanks for your messages.”
A statement on the Juventus website read: “Paulo Dybala has undergone medical tests that revealed a positive result for Coronavirus-Covid 19. He has been in voluntary home isolation since Wednesday, March 11.
“He will continue to be monitored, following the usual regime. He is well and is asymptomatic.”
Dybala is the third Juventus player to be confirmed to have the virus, following centre-back, Daniele Rugani, and France World Cup winner, Blaise Matuidi.
Oriana – an Argentine singer, actress and model – is the niece of former tennis player Gabriela Sabatini, the 1990 US Open champion.
