Frontline Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential, Kabiru Turaki (SAN), on Tuesday visited Delta State as part of his nationwide tour to deepen consultation with critical stakeholders.
The former minister of special duties was warmly received by the state leadership of the party, members of the State House of Assembly and enthusiastic supporters at Government House, Asaba.
Deputy Delta State PDP Chairman, Barrister Val Areyenka, who stood in for the Chairman, Barrister Kingsley Esiso, expressed his extreme happiness and showered his goodwill remark on the aspirant.
Areyenka praised Turaki’s zeal and spirit of commitment to the service of Nigerians and preserving its unity.
In his remark, Turaki vowed to restore the country’s lost glory and make it a global leader.
He reiterated that fairness and justice will be top on his agenda.
Turaki was accompanied by the director general of his campaign organisation, Boni Haruna; Mike Olunememen; Steve Oru; Sola Atere, and many other party loyalists.
Haruna described the presidential aspirant as a safe “political product” with no risk at all and.
“You don’t need to reconcile him with anybody in his quest for political office,” the campaign DG informed the Delta PDP family.
