Ditan Okupe, the son of a former presidential spokesperson, Doyin Okupe, has labeled the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as tragically corrupt and bereft of ideas.
Doyin Okupe was a former aide of ex-president Goodluck Jonathan of the PDP.
Ditan, on Monday in a message on Twitter, wrote that if the PDP had made sense as a party he would have joined them.
“My father was in power with OBJ and also GEJ, and I lived with him on both occasions. If @OfficialPDPNig made any sense as a party I would be with them today. But apart from being tragically corrupt, they are also bereft of ideas, perpetually confused and Reactive in nature,” he wrote.
Ditan has since declared his support for the re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
