Founder of the Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) Peace Anyiam-Osigwe was honoured by the organisers of the Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF) and everyone who attended the 12the edition of the event.
The ceremony was held on Saturday at the Oriental Hotel in Lagos.
The life and legacy of the AMAA founder was celebated with a standing ovation and a 30 seconds round of applause.
The event was attended by film practitioners like Kunle Afolayan, Segun Arinze, Rita Dominic, Uche Jombo, Kate Henshaw, Blossom Chukwujekwu, Lateef Adedimeji, Mo Bimpe and AFRIFF founder Chioma Ude.

Anyiam-Osigwe is also the president of the Association of Movie Producers (AMP).
Peace Anyiam-Osigwe died in a Lagos hospital on January 10.
