Brazil football legend, Pele, has been admitted to a hospital in Paris, French media report.
Pele had met with France forward, Kylian Mbappe, in a promotional event by Swiss watchmaker, Hublot, on Tuesday in Paris but fell ill late in the night.
Doctors say he had a ‘tetanus crisis’ but that the condition is not life-threatening.
Pele won the World Cup three times with Brazil’s national team. He has severally been described as the best footballer of all time.
It is unclear if the 78-year-old has been discharged from the hospital.
However, Mbappe has been compared to Pele having already won the World Cup with France in 2018.
The Paris Saint Germain star has taken a humble stance to say he could never match the 1,250 goals Pele scored in his career.
