London to Lagos solo driver Pelumi Nubi on Thursday shared a video on Instagram of her father Prof Timothy Nubi interviewing visitors of the car which she drove.
Nubi, 28, drove from London to Lagos in 68 days. She departed the UK capital on January 31 and arrived in Nigeria through the Seme border on April 7.
Her car named Lumi, which she donated to Lagos State Government’s soon-to-be-commissioned J Randle Center for Yoruba Culture and History, has been getting visitors.
In the video Nubi posted, her father asks a young girl why she’s been coming to take photos with the car, the girl says she is impressed by the fact that a woman accomplished such feat.
