Hours after Nollywood actress, Caroline Danjuma, accused him of complicity in the death of a friend named Tagbo, singer, Davido, has labelled his accuser as wicked.
The Missing Angel actress had claimed in an Instagram post on Tuesday that her friend, Tagbo, died in the singer’s car after they went partying to celebrate the deceased’s birthday.
She added that Davido dumped the corpse at a general hospital in the hope that his financial advantage will save him from justice.
“If you think your money can save you have met your match,” she wrote.
Responding in a series of Snapchat posts on Wednesday, Davido declared: “God knows the truth! People are just wicked!”
He claimed he was being treated unfairly because he treats everyone like a brother.
“I was deeply saddened to hear of the sudden death of my friend, Tagbo first and foremost my sincere condolence and prayers are with his family at this time.
“I have been in the same position before, multiple times and also of recent.
“But it is also disappointing that false information and complete lies have been out there using my name, as usual.
“Out of total respect for Tagbo and his family, I will not discuss this matter further for now,” he added.
