Veteran actor Pete Edochie has congratulated his junior colleague Junior Pope on building a duplex in Asaba.
Junior Pope shared the good news in an Instagram post on Tuesday, with a video chronicling the building process from scratch to the complete stage.
Junior Pope also visited the places he lived when he first moved to Asaba before packing into his new house to share the “story behind the glory.”
Captioning the post, the 39-year-old wrote: “THE STORY BEHIND THE GLORY……. ( Be Inspired) … @dopeevents007@qutejay Thank you for believing in me and for your love, prayers and patience……Wrought Gate And All Wrought Rails….. @brainandsteel. All Glory To God; God Is The Greatest.”
On Wednesday night, Junior Pope shared a loudspeaker phone conversation between him and Pete Edochie where the movie legend congratulated him.
Junior Pope builds duplex in Asaba
In the video posted on his Instagram story, Pete could be heard praying for the Junior Pope who could not hold back his excitement.
“I just heard you built a new house in Asaba, you now have a house to celebrate Christmas with. God will bless you, it shall be well with you, and you will keep going forward. This is my prayer for you in Christ’s name,” Pete Edochie said in Igbo while Junior Pope said “Amen” repeatedly.
Junior Pope is known for his excellent portrayal of the villain in movies.
The Enugu-born actor tied the knot with his wife Jennifer Awele in 2014 and the couple is blessed with four children.
