Actress Rita Edochie has stated that her brother-in-law and colleague Pete Edochie knows she got married legitimately and the Edochie family do not support polygamy.
Rita made the statement in a video shared via Instagram on Wednesday following Yul Eodchie’s outburst on social media.
Yul unsettled the peace in his home in April 2022 when he announced he had married actress Judy Austin Moghalu as his second wife and that they have a son together.
On Tuesday, the 41-year-old stormed social media to accuse his first wife May Yul-Edochie of undergoing breast enlargement surgery after the latter said 2023 stole her flesh and blood.
On Wednesday, Rita, a staunch supporter of May shared a video of herself and Pete, hailing the Edochie family. Rita said Pete Edochie knows she got married legitimately and the Edochie’s do not support polygamy.
The actress who spoke in English and Igbo said in her next life she would still be married into the family because her husband Tony Eodchie takes good care of her.

“EVEN MY GREAT HUSBAND CHIEF PETE EDOCHIE, THE OGADAGIDI NA NTEJE HAS ALSO CONFIRMED THAT I CAME THROUGH THE DOOR AND NOT THE WINDOW I SO MUCH LOVE AND RESPECT YOU MY GREAT HUSBAND IN MY NEXT WORLD, I WILL STILL BE PART OF THE EDOCHIES AND COMRADE TONY EDOCHIE WILL STILL BE MY DARLING HUSBAND,” she wrote in parts.
