Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, Tuesday shut down rumours that his veteran thespian father, Pete, had died.
Yul, who is not new to false stories about his father’s death, denied the latest false obituary report via a Twitter post.
My father Chief Pete Edochie is alive and well. What do people gain from spreading these fake rumors without confirmation?? Its just crazy

The senior Edochie was also rumored to have died after falling off a 50 feet height mountain in Kitzbuhel, Austria in December 2012.
Responding, the 69-year-old said back then that “I found it very amusing even though it disturbed my family and all the people who know me. Why I found it amusing is because I don’t fly and wouldn’t have gone to Austria on foot.”
He was however kidnapped on August 16, 2009 on his way to an event in Anambra State, but regained his freedom the next day.
